Hey! I'm Nila
Nice to meet you
I'm a product designer focused on AI systems and generative experiences. Currently at Klaviyo, I design personalization and AI-driven tools for marketing, with an emphasis on making complex systems intuitive, trustworthy, and useful in practice.
My work sits at the intersection of design, data, and machine learning—translating model behavior into experiences that people can understand, control, and rely on. I'm particularly interested in how interaction design can shape trust, guide decision-making, and make powerful systems feel natural to use.
I hold a Master's degree in Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University. Growing up in my family's Chinese restaurants in New York, I developed an early sensitivity to how small details—menus, packaging, service—shape perception and behavior. That perspective continues to influence how I think about product design today.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, dancing, and spending time outdoors.
